Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the casino, not like almost all other poker games that players bet with other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don't have to be concerned about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied selections.

It's also simpler to participate in for an extended time with just a little amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer's hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
