Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players don't need to worry about any other, more experienced people winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, novices are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick selections.

It's also easier to play for a long time with basically a small bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
