Beyond a doubt millions and millions of people strive to be the next "star" in poker, but here is a short rundown on four of the more well known "charming guys" of the game. Even though "nice" is associated with their names when you are facing them it is "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have removed you out of the competition!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his tourney winnings amounted to more than four and a half million dollars and he came away with two highly admired awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine's Competition Player of the Year. In February Two Thousand and Six he was appointed Card Player's Favourite Poker Player. Daniel still has the decency to speak to his fans about how they could improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Known as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His success has lead to him making an instructional poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold'em" and also hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. As of Two Thousand and Five, his complete life time earnings surpass 2.7 million dollars.

Scotty Nguyen

Scott is one of the busiest players in poker and between Two Thousand to 2004 he ranked in the money in more than 100 competitions. He's notorious for saying "yeah baby" during poker matches and also coined the term "that's poker baby" when referring to a exceptionally bad loss. As of Two Thousand and Six, his career winnings are just about $6 million.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has earned five World Series of Poker titles with 2 of his wins coming in 2003. Has the alias "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, along with his ability to throw cards quick enough to cut through bananas and pickles. As of 2005 his total live poker tournament winnings exceeded $5 million.
